
John L. Dick is a co-founder of The StrataFusion Group, Inc., and is a well-known Silicon Valley technology veteran with over 25 years of experience in the fields of technology management and strategic technology product direction. John’s expertise spans networks, enterprise applications, internet technology and business models, knowledge management, and complex computing environments.
Engagements include interim Chief Information Officer for an internet infrastructure provider and an enterprise software provider; Chief Technology Officer for an internet integration tools provider, a commercial real estate internet portal provider, and an internet legal services provider. Other engagements include IT organizational, applications, and operations infrastructure support roles with media, medical instrument, and software integration companies. As Vice President of Technology Operations for Intuit, he was responsible for the development and implementation of world-class technology practices for Intuit’s corporate and internet/web product technology infrastructure including network, fileserver, telecommunications, and internal/external data center operations.
Prior to joining Intuit, he held CIO positions at Plantronics, Inc. and Bay Networks/SynOptics Communications managing their worldwide information systems activities. He was also a member of the board of directors for Core Technology Group, Inc. He has served on several corporate advisory boards. John’s teams have won multiple awards for enterprise systems architecture, design, web design, and functionality. His team was awarded a Computerworld Smithsonian Achievement Award for visionary use of technology; won once and was in the finals a second time for the CIO Magazine Award for return on investment in information technology.
