Elinor MacKinnon is a seasoned technology executive who has successfully scaled high growth organizations, while effectively managing dynamic and rapid business change. As a StrataFusion Partner, she brings more than 25 years of executive experience with significant background in complex regulated businesses undergoing major transformation.

Serving in a number of high-profile CIO/CTO roles, Elinor specializes in digital transformation, organization redesign, culture transformation, and strategic IT cost restructures. Most recently, she served as Esurance CIO, Managing Director and a member of the board. She was accountable for technology strategy, security, software development and operations for esurance.com. Elinor previously served in CIO positions at Blue Shield of California and Chiron Corporation (now Novartis), and held senior technology leadership roles at Charles Schwab.

She is active on numerous CIO Advisory boards, ranging from startups to blue chip companies. Recognized for her business leadership, she is a recipient of the San Francisco Business Times 100 Most Influential Women Award.​
