Summary:            

 

Rhoda Verner brings over 30 years experience in strategic planning and multiple project implementations for IT as well as project and portfolio governance. She has a significant background with large healthcare companies, as well as semiconductor and hardware providers. Her specialty areas are Strategic Planning, Program Management, Change Management, service management building and driving outsourcing centers, as well as IT organizational design and development.

 

 Experience:

 

Rhoda joined Johnson & Johnson (J&J-healthcare), one of Fortune 500’s top 50 companies, in 1993. Based in New Jersey, Rhoda built & led the Global Center of Excellence (Professional Services Group), leveraging the talent across the globe, managing multiple ERP implementations while driving global standard data, processes, technology and outsourcing for J&J Consumer. She was accountable for P/L as well as service improvements to ensure continued growth across the company’s key markets.

 

Before moving back to the United States in 2005, Rhoda was based in Singapore for eight years as the CIO/VP Information Technology for J&J Consumer - Asia Pacific. There, she was responsible for the strategic leadership and facilitating the governance for development & implementation of the company’s ERP solution across the region (14 countries), e-business platform, and data management, which supports mission-critical operational issues, as well as the continued drive to capture consumer insights for strategic growth. Outsourcing key IT & Business processes was one of our overall company strategies.

 

Previously, Rhoda was leading Information Technology at LifeScan Inc, a J&J Diagnostic company dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with diabetes through blood glucose monitoring systems for home and hospital use.  Before 1993, Rhoda was CIO for XES Systems (formerly Xerox Engineering Systems), a Xerox company charged with developing and delivering solutions, support and supplies to the technical document community worldwide. Based in California, her global responsibilities included Europe and Canada.

 

Education & Achievements:

 

Rhoda earned a BA in social sciences / minor business from the San Jose State University California, USA, and completed her MBA from the University of Phoenix.  She has won a number of awards and accolades – and in 1996, was named of the Top 100 Women in Computing (USA) by McGraw Hill. In 2005, she has been acknowledged in the new Cisco publication “Net Impact” for her work in China.  Rhoda is a member for Woman’s Unlimited.

OVERVIEW
