Judy brings more than twenty years expertise to her role as a Chief Information Officer (CIO). She just completed a two-year assignment setting up and running the Information Technology Program Management Office for Logitech, focused specifically on a major worldwide reimplementation of Oracle 11i.

While with the StrataFusion Group, her area of focus has been technology product assessment for startups, interim Director and CIO engagements for small to mid-size IT companies, and readiness assessments for pre-shipment private equity companies.

Prior to joining StrataFusion she was CIO with Benchmark Capital. While there, Judy had worldwide responsibility for the design and implementation of information systems, applications, infrastructure, facilities and human resource management for Benchmark and acted as a strategic advisor to the Benchmark Portfolio Network.

Ms. Armstrong's expertise includes leading IT through both growth and contracting business cycles by evaluating, selecting and implementing internal technologies, applications and developing strategic plans. In addition, Ms. Armstrong assisted emerging companies with product evaluation and marketing strategies.

Before joining Benchmark, Ms. Armstrong, as VP of Corporate Services for C-Cube Microsystems, oversaw the replacement of the legacy ERP system (with Oracle) to help streamline the company's operating efficiency, the enhancement of employee communications through the development of a content rich Intranet, and assumed leadership for facilities and human resources organizations. In addition, she managed the transition and subsequent acquisition of DiviCom into Harmonic, and a year later the merger of C-Cube into LSI Logic.

Prior to C-Cube, Ms. Armstrong, was engaged in business development and implementation of Oracle applications at KPMG Peat Marwick. Previously, she led the implementation of several applications and restructured IT to streamline workflow at Cadence Design Systems. She directed IT Operations at Quantum Corporation and held several IT positions at National Semiconductor.

Ms. Armstrong graduated from the University of Phoenix with a BS degree in Business Administration. She is past President of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the Society of Information Management (SIM) and The Child Abuse Prevention Center; she has been a mentor for Women Unlimited for the past 8 years.
